Air Frequencies offers to listen to a landscape through resonant filters. 7 ceramic pieces, following the principle of Helmotz resonators, i.e. a phenomenon of resonance in a cavity, serve as filters.
Each Ceramic is inserted into a metal rock that serves as a frequency mixer. The viewer inserts his head inside the rock and listens to the landscape through the filters.
Air Frequencies was commissioned by Klangwelt Toggenburg.
This piece was created in collaboration with Raphaël Mognetti and Myriam Martinez
