Built by the students and teachers of the Edith Piaf Highschool (Paris), Insolite is an ensemble of musical instruments conceived to respond to an order placed by the Orchestre National d’Ile de France.
Research on the acoustic low frequencies and the microtonalities have allowed us to create one cordophone, two aerophones and an ensemble of percussions.
